Cannabidiol
CBD has been shown in the lab to provide anti-anxiety and antidepressant effects. It acts as a neuroprotectant and helps reduce this oxidative brain damage and inflammation. CBD may also help improve memory and focus and work as an effective brain fog treatment.
Dosing
Start with a low amount. Use this chart and instructions to figure out your exact dose.
Contraindications
Although CBD has been deemed safe by the WHO and other health organizations, not enough experiments have been done to identify if there are any populations for whom CBD is unsafe.
Pregnancy/Lactation
Since there is virtually no human research which has been conducted to suggest whether or not CBD oil is safe during pregnancy or pregnancy, it is a good idea to practice caution while pregnant or breastfeeding.
Interactions
None well documented.
Adverse Reactions
Some reported side effects of cannabidiol include dry mouth, low blood pressure, light headedness, and drowsiness. Signs of liver injury have also been reported in some patients, but this is less common.
